PDA

From SCP: Unity Wiki
Jump to: navigation, search

The PDA system allows the player to hold, use, and equip items. It also allows the player to read any documents they have acquired. Currently, the inventory resembles a PDA screen, however is just a pop-up simulating said screen.

Description[edit | edit source]

The PDA is divided into 4 sections; inventory, status, map, and codex. The status and map sections currently cannot be opened.

The inventory section is divided into two subsections; Inventory and Keys. The Inventory subsection is where most items are held. The player can hold a maximum of 12 items in this sections. Items that go to other sections do not count towards this total. The keys subsection allows the player to review the Keys they've collected. Unlike items, Keys cannot be dropped and do not have a maximum amount which can be held.

The codex section is a collection of all the documents the player has obtained. These documents are divided into two subsections; the SCP Documents, and the Facility Documents. Documents cannot be dropped, and are permanently part of the codex.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • In the future, the inventory will be put onto a 3D model of a PDA rather than just a pop-up graphic.
